It’s Independence Day/the 4th of July! This is a day where we all usually gather together with friends and family for fun and food, which is great. I have been thinking about this holiday though and what it really is celebrating. It’s celebrating our great country and more importantly, GOD – who made it all possible. So, as we gather together and enjoy the company of one another, let’s pause and thank God for the blessing of being able to gather together at all.

Do you remember the words to our Pledge of Allegiance? It is another remember of who is responsible for the blessings we have enjoyed in the United States of America. I pray we never forget and fool ourselves into thinking it was us. It’s all about Him – The One who created and sustains us. To God be the glory!
